Well, I just had the strangest dream last night:
I had a rat, a perticular rat cause it was white with black eyes and was only an inch long (including tail). I had it running around on my hands and we had alot of fun. Well, as the dream moved on I eventually dropped it in a carboard box filled with discarded computer keyboard keys and no matter how much I dug I couldn't find my small mate again...
Just wanted to share this with you, be sure to hang on to your rats and don't drop them...but I really want to know what the heck this dream meant...
Anyway, I'm heading for bed once again, maybe I'll find him today...

Last night was definately something special... i talked to a couple of my friends today and turns out they had just as hard a time getting to sleep as me. Along with that, I had a very confusing dream.
You ever have a nightmare to where if you think back on it in real life, there was absolutely nothing scary about it? I had one last night... i was walking home one day, and along my path another man comes my direction. He was holding a cell phone, holding it straight out in front of him, facing me as he was walking. As he approached, i felt my heart speed up, and before we crossed he gripped my arm and pointed to the phone with his free hand as he told me something like, "Go with it. You're coming here. With me." And after he said that he let go of my arm and walked to a nearby house and as he walked away i freaked out and ran, trying to hide every part of me visible to the world, and was deathly scared, and the next moment i woke up. There was nothing scary about it, and it meant nothing, but still my brain tricked me or something happened to where i just couldn't handle it and i just got scared to death. |

I have this recurring dream that's scared the crap out of me since I was about .. 4.
It starts off with a picturesque house, with a 3 foot picket fence and bright flowers along the bottom. There's a little girl or soemthing riding a tricyle in front of the house sometimes. The house is just there, in a black void. There's faint, very high-pitched music, or an odd sound, playing. It just barely pentrates my ears. Then I feel really tiny, compared to my field of view. Next thing I know, I'm in a room or black void with lots of huge stone cylinders, horizontally positioned, rolling endlessly in place. They're moist, and I think they're crushers of some sort.
It scares the living fuck out of me. It actually leaves me witless. |

I had a dream once when I was 5 years old (21 now) and I still remember it.
I went to bed, and I remember falling asleep, then 5 faces appeard out of the darkness, no bodies, just faces. They were devilish looking (one even had horns), then I woke up. And only 2 minutes have passed on the clock, but it seemed like I starred at these faces for 2 hours.
And for some reason I don't know if I shoke the bed from fright when I woke, but I swore my bed actually moved (in real life) after I awoke.
I have never had a dream like that sence...talk about wierd.
Oh, and the worst dreams, and it FREAKS me out so muuchhh...even to this day is when I am half asleep and half awake. I can feel and see things but I can't move my body! It is really scary cause you feel a nightmare coming on, so you don't really wanna goto sleep but your body won't move and your eyes are starting to shut.
It is freaky.....one time I was going through this and I TRIED and TRIED to lift my arm up to keep me awayk (don't ask me why I thought this lol) and I couldn't, I felt really helpless and that is the scary part of the whole thing. |

Heh. I wish I'd had the rat dream. I LIKE little one-inch rats. (Well, I would if I'd ever seen one quite that small.)
No, I usually dream either about long, bizarre conversations with old friends (which I rather enjoy), or monsters. I hate dreaming about monsters. They always chase me--I don't like that, at all. There's another dream too, where I'm in my parents' old summer house in Scotland, but none of the light switches are working. It's pitch black, and I can't lay hands on a match. So I go outside, but there's no light there either--not even the moon or the stars. Cloudy night. Even the sea is black. So I run down the road, planning to run till morning, because if I don't, a monster will probably eat me.... I HATE that dream. |

I had a dream once where I was being chased through a dark forest.
I didn't know what was chasing me but I had to keep running so that whatever it was didn't catch me.
Eventually I reached an old medieval inn at the edge of the forest and ran inside. I then went straight to the innkeeper and begged him to help me. He was rather reluctant but eventually agreed.
He took a box out from under the bar which was full of silver knifes and forks. He laid some out in a circle and then put the rest inside to fill it.
He then told me and everyone else in the inn to get inside the circle. It was a tight squeeze and I constantly felt as if I was being pushed out of it.
Suddenly the inn door opened a woman with long dark hair entered. She walked up to the circle looking around it but couldn't get through it. Suddenly she saw a slight break in the circle where I was.
She lunged grabbing me hard and shouting, "Now I have you".
At which point I woke up. For some reason I always seem to have strange dreams. |

Really cool dreams people...I never dream nightmares anymore though, can't figure out why...
Well, I had another dream tonight (not about the rat though). I just dreamt that I floated, not high in the air and not in a magician horizontal position. My feet floated half an inch from the ground through my old school. I floated through the school where I've not been for 3 years, down stairs I floated as easily as on normal floor. People stood still and looking at me, they didn't move or anything, the one and only thing that moved (except me) was my old friend (we've been friends for over 12 years) following me like every thing was normal, not noticing that I was floating.
I've had flying dreams in the past aswell where I was chased by something (usually people) and I just ran and floated up up in the air far above my chasers, the houses and the clouds with a feeling of freeness I've never felt before. Even though I was chased it was no nightmare, more like a dream to free my senses somehow... |

last week i worked late with a colleague. we got done at about 3 a.m. we live close by so he agreed to drop me off at my place real quick. i was dead tired and on the boring highway part of the ride i kept falling asleep for just seconds at a time, over and over again. on that highway we always pass by a small railway station and after that, like 50 feet, there's a huge billboard. thats my daily way home, so i know every detail about the route by heart. as my eyes closed once again the last thing i notice is us passing by the railway station. then i'm dreaming. i'm in an old copplestone street. two huge horses, cold blooded- you know, those muscle packed farm horses, come down the street pulling a big wooden brewery waggon with two big beer barrels. they are looking at me furiously, wheezing, then they start coming after me... i can barely believe it... they come flying, like the brewery wagon they are pulling is of no weight. i almost shit my pants and start running for my life. i run inside a house, run up a long, circled but extremely narrow stairway. the bizzarre picture i see looking over my shoulder rather adds to my fear: the horses are rocketing up that tiny stairway still pulling the brewery waggon. i mean they could'nt possibly fit into that stairway, neither could they climb it pulling that brewery wagon. i run as fast as i can, but i notice the more i run the slower i get. it feels like running in water... but the horses get faster and faster and when i can feel their breath in my neck- i wake up. i noticed how we just passed by the bill board. the ride from the train station to the billboard couldn't haven taken longer than 4-5 seconds at the very most. not at the speed we were going. but i felt like i was running at least for 15 minutes in my dream.
and thats the tricky point. the dreams you usually remember after waking up don't take long at all. they just happen shortly before or at the very moment that u wake up and don't take much longer than a few tenth of a second- no matter how long u think u dreamed. |

Heh that dream is pretty scary :/
I seem to get his dream every time i come down with a flu (common in Englaind )..
I start in a White void nothing around me I start freaking out, then out of the ground seems to come these vines, but there the 1'z with thorns on, I try to move out the way, but I'm scared to because of the Throns ..
Finally the bg goes all black and the vines dissapear, I begin falling I can actually feel my breath been taken out of me
(This happens to everybody who seems to have a dreams when there falling), then I wake up ... This dream normaly takes around 2 minutes which is really funny cause I'm asleep around 8 hours?
But Talking about Wet Dreams, who seems to get to the best part then wakes up very dissapointing, and even more annoying
*chough* I have a life *chough* |

Awesome thread!!!
OK, heres mine:
I was a gargoyle or an angel or a devil or whatever with wings behind my back, I was sitting just above the high doorway and looking at the people passing by... and then I just had this uncontrolable anger and terrible fear at the same time, I jumped down from the parapet... I FELT the wings' muscles and bones pulling on my back, so when I moved the wings, I felt as the muscles on my shoulders just tried to rip my ribs apart - there was no pain, just tension!!! AMAZING, I would give my life to feel it once again!!! The flight ended while I was flying up to some tree-top, I woke up, the whole flight was like 10 seconds in the dream, AMAZING! |

did u guys ever have reoccuring dreams? as i said, im really not the dream type person because i never remember anything, but till i was 5 or 6 i had the same dream reoccuring. i think the reason why i specifically remember that dream is because it's so extremely stupid:
i am sitting in our apartment's living room. my parents have a conversation and i am sitting in front of the tv playing. i hear the apartment door down the small hallway around the livingroom corner open, and for some reason i know that the big evil wolf is coming for me (the one from the brothers grimms tale)... i don't see him yet, but i hear the door squeak... and i hear his slow steps. i am really scared, so i try and interrupt my parents conversation, but my mom just says "pal, u be quiet when grown ups talk!" and then continues to chat with my dad... i try and yell but they act like im not even there. i hear the wolf come closer and closer. i still can't see him yet, but i know he's gonna get me. i cry and i yell, but noone cares. and then i see him come around the corner in the living room. he's walking on his hind legs, just on his toes, with his two front pawns raised- like someone does when hes trying to sneak in somewhere. he's huge, his teeth are razorsharp and saliva is dripping out of his snout. my heart just stops... i can't move at all, but my parents just talk and talk, they dont seem to notice anything. the wolf is daggering me with his stares and as he's just a few steps away i close my eyes, crying like a baby. he jumps at me, i fall to the ground-- and instead of ripping me apart the beast starts tickeling me (??!). i mean he tickles the living shit outta me! i laugh so hard, i can barely breath... and then i'd just wake up yelling for my mom.
i dont know why this dream reappeared so often, but it probably meant 2 things: 1. i have a problem with people telling me to shut up, 2. i don't like being tickled
what REALLY worries me though is that i never had a wet dream later on... well except for that one lame one with madonna |

Man...you guys are SICK... :P j/k
Reoccuring dreams...yeah, as a kid I had this VERY short dream (can't remember much of it now)...
I'm a squirrel, there is a hedgehog sitting on a bench with her hat and cane (like an old woman. I, the squirrel, walks by, asks for someone, she doesn't know where he is and I resume my walking, come a cross another hedgehog sitting on a bench with the exact same hat and cane, I ask the question again and get the same answer and resumes my walking and this repeats over and over and over and over again in the dream...
I can't link it to any special event though...and I haven't had it for ages... |

Dreams, hmm. Dreams dreams, let's see ...
One dream I had when I was two or three years old : A light blue 2d:ish background with dogs of some sort running around pulling sledges - I remember two extremely weird sensations of touch - the other was a heavy one, that sort of buzzed on my skin, but also had a feeling to it that I can't recall. The other was a light touch - so light I could barely sense it, and moist. It had an irritating and infuriating feeling to it, kind of repetetive touches that made me more and more mad - I still get angry when I think of that.
A repetitive dream that I saw four or five times in my childhood : Our house is changed - somehow more dangerous - and puzzle-like. Obstacles that look like they've come out of a children's book - but are still dangerous and frightening. I remember a sort of a ladder thing, that would go rapidly back into the ground and throw you onto the floor. I wanted to get to somewhere in this dream, and got killed by the puzzle-obstacles or lost the first times. Hey ! I't was a witch that I wanted to defeat ! Heh. It just suddenly came back to me. Anyway, the last time I saw this dream I finally ended up in a square room, that had deep blue and violet tones - all scrambled like in an 8-bit nintendo game. Then the room changed into 2d - and i could see myself on the (screen?) fighting the witch. I threw something at her many times and defeated her. I woke up and never saw the dream again.
A really, really 'bright' dream : I was sort of waking up to consciousness inside a dream and starting to wonder if i was dreaming. I was naked, inside a white plastic cube just big enough to fit me in it in a crouched position. I couldn't see through the cube, and I remember a sensation of going down, and a humming which resembled an elevator. It was a lucid dream, and I remember examining the plastic, looking at the daints and scratches, that made it look 'real'. I can't remember all the details in the plastic, but I remember that nothing was out of focus, and everything was insanely detailed - eg. I could see everything everywhere in the cube without focusing my eyes anywhere - and I could see a 1mm * 1mm area as sharp as this monitor. I just examined the cube and thought " wow " to myself - the cube descended for an eternity and the dream slowly faded to grey and I woke up.
Another lucid dream : Another time I woke up inside a dream I instantly forgot the dream I was dreaming and started examining things to see if it was a dream or not - and everything was ALL TOO detailed and sharp for it to be real. So I tried to make people appear. I was in a house of some sort - with an 80's sort of decoration - and tried to make an old female friend appear. Nothing happened and I was mad at myself. I tried again and a naked middle-aged couple appeared - and immediately started having sex on a tasteless bed in the 'doggy style'-position. I thought I could try flying, that's always good fun - so I changed the scene to a forest beach beside a shallow and large lake. I flied over the water and and dived and made loops and all that. Then I thought that it was possible that I could lose my flying abilities and fall, and fell instantly. I tried a couple of times but fear of falling kept me on ground. I tried gliding on the water on my stomach and that worked. I remember speeding like a motorboat. Then I remembered that someone told me that it's possible to get out of your body into astral space while dreaming lucidly ( yeah, whatever. ) I was dreaming, so I thought I could give it a shot. I thought of going elsewhere - out of the world. Then came a falling sensation - I was suddenly over a metropolitan city at night, it was raining and I was falling gently like a leaf - That was neat, but then I tried to go elsewhere again, and had some kind of an electric shock with a tingling orgasmic-like sensation, and a VERY strong one at that, and woke up immediately, scared as hell. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of weird mind trick I performed on myself ... :/
hmm. The last wet dream and nightmare I saw were three or four years ago. I see lots of dreams but never anything very exciting or frightening :/
