Truly Awesomeful So many of these characters make me smile, really! I chuckled too.
The "concentrating guy" on Mr. Sketch 4- top left (Mr. Sketch...?) is my favorite of the bunch, but I'm also quite fond of Mr Sketch 5, and every single finished image on Mr. Sketch 6 and 7 (except for that drawing of "Prince" on the upper-right of number 6 - draw over that with a black permanent marker!!)
I see you are utilizing the all-important Disney/Bluth animation rule that HANDS do as much talking as the face. Very nice!
And for the love of God... if you have any more sweet sketchidy drawings of some women as diverse in character and expression as these males... please do not hesitate to post them... SOON. Good glavin! |

You amaze me Isric . Your style is unique, and still seems to show things in a realistic way.
When I see your drawings I can't help thinking that can't be done in any other way
So you are only 18? Well, I'm sure I will hear from you in the future, as you will surely find a great job and be famous |

Cool stuff. I see a little influence Humberto Ramos in quite a few of those.

Man, these are great. I wish my sketches looked half as good and half as clean.
I really like the facial expressions on some of these characters. Nice character designs aswell and the disney influence really shines through.
I wish I were 18 again.

I'm very impressed and have appreciated your work in the past, though I don't frequently reply. I'll keep an eye out for you in the future.

Bumping this one back up because it's worthy. We all need of a breath of fresh air every so often. I'm flipping through a Dean Cornwell book for the umpteenth time and as I view his work, I see similarities in yours. The more you look, the more there is...
Quite the story teller.
Of course this includes your recent color pieces as well.
18? Punk! I was siphoning gas for my next ride at your age... |

Like I have said before...damn..DAMN! Nice work...although I dont agree with the bastard comments ( not even sarcastically) I think it is great that you are only 18, looks like you have devoted alot of time and hard work to art!....and like Drew Struzan once told me.."its not luck at all, it's all hard work."
So kudos to you, and I hope to see more stuff...By the way...do you use reference...it looks like alot of your drawing is exact..and some is..well, so, so. kinda contradictory... Just wondering, You da Man! keep posting

Very excellent drawings.
The disney influence I caught right away, but that roman/greek/egyptian/cyberpunk/I-Have-No-Idea-But-It's-Cool spin is what is coolest.
I've been slacking since I was 12, and am 18 now... Time to work my ass off =P

Why do I even try? Your art is great, and I love your style. Yes, it is something closer to animation then anyone else on this board, and I guess that is why I enjoy it. Your characters look great, and I love the clothes they were, baggy is the best. But I must wonder, do you know how to draw legs? I'm sure you can, but none of your drawings show legs, and they ones the do, are hidden by long dress thingies. Anyways, your too good, and don't say you didn't take art lessons, you make me feel worse! And your style isn't Disney, it is your style, and your style is the best style. |

I really like it, it is extremely good, the only crit I have is that the hands on the characters seem a tad too small, but like I said, everything is amazingly good, specially the faces and expressions. |
