This is a colaboration piece I did with Robert (Opticnerve) Hunter. his drawin' my colours. The drawing was only of the character originaly, so I chucked in the background and setting.
Bigger version- http://www.seraphseven.com/rinaldo/colouring/ANGELWARRIOR.jpg
I know I haven't been around here much I've got a collection of stuff I've done recently that I'll put up in the next few days hopefully

very nice pic, drawing and colors.
the clouds in the bg are very stylish but good. also like the wings... the whole pic.
reminds me a little of the cover illustrations of books from terry pratchet.

More angels? Well, this is quite nice indeed! Or could I say... lovely?
One thing is that the clouds seem a bit too "solid" and flat. I would have done them somewhat different, but I think they're ok as a background that shouldn't draw much attention.
(P.S. My angel could beat up your angel! (if I ever finish that picture, that is, hehe)) |

Hey Rilando,
I love your stuff. The forearm armor thing rocks. Only thing i can crit on is the face, no large flaws, just dosen't seem to fit.

This is truly beautiful!
Her wings are /gorgeously/ rendered (first I misspelled that as "wigs" instead of "wings"... Eep!).. not that everything else isn't, it's just that I'm a sucker for beautiful wings.
Favourite part of the image would be the very lovely choice of colours though. Very discreet and still so... gah... pretty.

I really love this, it's so nice and clean looking. Pretty colours.
I would have liked you see you do more with the armour, though, instead of just all that green. Maybe a little gold trim on the details, or something, would have given it a bit more impact...?
*shrugs* Either way, I love it. Those wings... and those clouds! Wowee. |

Hey I got a crit for ya now Rin. The tones used for the ground are too simular to the background. You may want to make it darker so it will bring the ground and the figure forward. That way the viewer will focus more on the figure and not what is surrounding it. I didn't notice it in the larger pic you showed me. |

Can I just say "sweet" or "good" in a bit of a pleasantly stunned reply like everyone else?
Here: Sweet!
Oh, one thing, the line on top of the hips, in my humblest of uneducated opinions, either that should be gone or curved downward, yeah?
Anyway, let me emphesize this: I can't spell. No, I mean: Nice work! : )

Oh my.
Beautiful I really like this image. Your lighting is interesting.. it's almost a comic style but it's painting. The clouds and the style in general reminds me of that ffx cover liquid posted a while ago.
Kudos

Rin/Op
Wow... the finished product looks great. You guys did a kick ass job with this! And it looks like you've impressed quite a few of the ladies too. Woowoo
You should DEFINITELY do more collaborative pieces like this. You guys work together like peanut butter and jelly

Hot damn, you got good while you were away.
I've got a crit, though. (I guess I just never got the hang of giving a straight compliment. ) Bits of the picture look pretty flat, like they're falling in the same plane. It almost looks like the angel is standing about six feet in front of a painting of some clouds - especially around her legs. The clouds themselves don't seem to recede much either. Adding some more atmosphere to the clouds, and removing some of the atmosphere between the viewer and the angel, would probably help a lot.
Aside from that, I really love the composition of the angel and the cloud formations. You really did a good job.
Oh yeah, colors are nice too.
