Wow, I've been gone for quite a while. From the looks of it most of the old skoolers are less present as well. Here's something a was finally able to do. I really hope it works, I'm still with geocities so it may fritz on me.

Here's a high res close-up of these two

yeah sorry about the name thing, its just because a few of my pictures were stolen. So for a while I'll be a little on edge about that.
The story...is not something I thought about. I just put the two characters together and saw what sort of scene popped up. Whenever you drop a few different people in one place, stuff happens, and it works with pictures too.

Everything about your work just keeps getting better - colors, composition, proportions, gesture... awesome!

Great characters and story telling as always Isric!

I was wondering, if you got the chance to see my coloring of your Tad Williams drawing. I know it isn't much

Wow, reply time:

Liquid- thank you, that means a lot to me coming from someone I respect.

S4Sb- hehe, Gollum is cool

Milkman- Hmmm...sorry I don't have money to put into this like some people. As many corners as I can cut, the better. If this is a problem...could you suggest somewhere better? Some way that doesn't involve me spending my art college tuition?

Binke- thanks, I am.

Joachim- much thanks, and good to hear from you! your not dead!

Ceenda- sorry, I don't know what else to do aside from get a better acount elswhere.

Shadowman- I have no artistic background, in the sense of art schools or formal instruction. I'm a self-taught Canadian kid, hopefully going to art college this september.

Painted Melody- Holy crap! That's so cool, thanks for showing me that. It has a lot of style, and even though the palate is wierd, I still love it.

Thanks all, would someone be able to post the picture on their host? It would be a big help.

http://www.tbns.net has been kind to me so far as well as others on this forum (I'm assuming).

Great pic by the way, Isric. Love the mood and the setting allows for so many scenarios...

I always am interested by the things you post, and this has to be one of your best pieces. I am confused by the white highlight on his forehead though and some of the other lighting. The overall style and color is awsome.

Hmmm very nicely done isric......nice colors hmm about the web hosting...well geocities does not lik to do image hosting at all so maybe your local isp provides you with web space for free , they do...maybe just a few megs worth ,ike mine provides 5 megs or something but it is enough to keep a few images online ..anyways kep the good stuff coming

Very nice I like the expression on the man's face. He looks annoyed, amused, and patient. Very well done.

The gesture and the mood is very nice here, I really like this one. the only thing I can say is maybe about the human's eyes, from a distance it looks like he's looking at the goblin thing, but up close is it seems he is sstaryong at the camera, not much contrast in the pupils. Another thing is the fact that they're both looking at the camera(viewer/whatever) makes the picture seem a little posed and un natural, but maybe if the situation involves them staring at the viewer it works just fine.

wow. that was quick. just 10 mins ago i asked for something in colors

i think, however, that the orange spots on the charecters has nothing to do with the source of light (fire). i think that this can be fixed... but great scene. i can really imagine that there was a story related. awsome.
