I really like this piece. I'm just wondering what the bow is dragging across. It doesn't look like it's hitting the strings, but rather the edge of the instrument. Nice work though!

Looks great sear... I kind of interpret it another way though... though the little fluctuations trailing off the cello the the left may look like tremors to others...it looks like the guys trying to start a fire to me.... thick smoke billowing out etc....

You may want to try the same effect but uplift it a bit because .. people tend to portray music as "drifting" in the air.

Great picture by the way.

Wow, that is a really cool idea for a pic, and you did a good job on it. Reminds me of when I used to play the violin... kind of gives me the feeling of what it is like to play during a concert for some reason... very cool, though.

Very nice work Sear! Love the trembling sound waves (or so that is how I interpret it) coming from the cello at the bottom.

How did I miss this one? I'm so silly. Sniffle.

It's beautiful, anyway. The mood of it, really. The smooth, wonderful, sad, mood... I like

Hi Sear. Yes wonderful work, i like it. Beautiful harmony in the colours etc. I just have a tiny remark about the position of the cello. Usually it is more in the same axe as the shoulders, and here for me it is a little bit too much "unwedged".

really dig the pict. and the mood, im quite impressed. although i do have to say that someone should really tell that musician that he is playing that violin the wrong way.

Wow, that is so nice. I want to see the canvas soooooooo badly. Please don't forget to post it.

This really reminds me of a mess around sketch that I did a while ago. For obvious reasons. http://www.deadbyte.com/trend/srfg/dude.gif

Hi Sear, this is GREAT work, and I really mean it.

It is so great to see that some people here really hit it off without fancy schmancy overbrushed effectts and totally overkill backgrounds! And have the balls to post it! This is indeed a super piece.

Thanks a BUNCH for showing us that!!

Respect.
