Holy shit, you've improved tons!

Thanks all.
I think the "improvement" owes a lot to my using a photo reference for this - I don't do that often. Anyway, What's supposed to be going on is the person is trying to cut the vines/roots/whatever that are growing around the sphere. I realized it would be a bit unclear, but there wasn't much I could do at that point.

looks cool-
the glowing ball reminds me of one of hurri-cane's pictures

you could add a bit glow to those sparks that are flying around perhaps- well just my opinion.
