I like the moon... but the mist is kind of bright, i can't tell if it is supposed to be night or day

Dreaming of that face again.
It's bright and blue and shimmering.
Grinning wide
And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes. |

I like this pic alot! I'm sensing a kinda Roger Dean influence here, but your style is definately your own.
The only thing I can suggest is perhaps bring the pic 'out' a bit more. There's a kind of depth problem with the rocks in the foreground, they look a bit flat. Perhaps some stronger shadowing effects would be nice with rocks casting shadows on other rocks to give a better sense of depth and scale.
Otherwise, a great pic.

wow, nice one, well you've had your landscape criticized by Ceenda... He is somewhat of a figurehead on the subject on this here forum...
I see what he's saying though, and I think I know why it's happening, the ocks in the foreground look flat because they have the same amount of "haze" as the background...
you see in the atmosphere, the actual color reflected by air is the normal blue that you get in the sky, and the more air you have between you and your subject, the bluer it gets... (oversimplified)
so seeing as your atmosphere is kinda green, (judging from the background) and it's a thick atmosphere, what with all the mist around.... the forground, should be MUCH clearer than the background with higher contrast, and less atmospheric influance....
I am just repeating Ceenda's comment basically, but without him pointing it out I would not see it...

I like this one alot. Looks very much like traditional media guache or maybe watercolors with a touch of guache... What Painter tools did u use for this? Great job!
