Hey peeps!

Here's proof that I've finally managed to get at least *some* control over Painter!

yeah.. geocities has been being weird lately

anyways onto your pic. it looks good, but the nose seems a bit odd. looks a little bent to the left. the skin seems like it could use a bit more contrast, but then again. maybe you wanted the lighting to be dim in the pic. maybe just blend the differnt skin tones together a bit more, just so it looks smoother

good work otherwise

nice work....

i want to comment about the eyes-
1)they look too frontal. u should try to pan them to the left more (her right, right?)
2)they look a lil dead. a bright spark or a white spot there will do miracles.

Guy: Yeah, I see what you mean about the skin tones... I think my monitor is partly to blame. I had Adobe's *evil* gamma settings turned on (which I've now turned off never to touch again) that made everything look brighter than normal! DOH!

topeira: I kinda rushed the eyes. This painting was really just a way to get this woman out of my head! (It's based someone I saw on Saturday night... I looked at her, she looked at me, I checked out her erm... physique (ahem) and she walked on by...

Anyway that's enough of my failing love life. It's far too depressing to get into!

Nice painting!
You may try to boost a bit the contrast or rather the brightness unless the mood was intended..
