Well, I survived the Game Developers Conference without too many rotten tomatoes being thrown at me. I have posted my lecture and associated art on my web site. The lecture was on character design and digital figure painting. Have a look if you are interested. The above image is, of course, a Frazetta rip off but I did make Conan have a figure that is more like mine.

Seeg: A shame I missed it, would have liked to be there. Thanks for posting it up, will definitely have a read... thanks.

Edit: Cool stuff... especially love your doodles! I really appreciate your offensive sense of humor. =)

I just have a huge amount of respect for you. Sorry if this sounds like I'm sucking up, but this just puts you even higher up on my Respect-O-Meter. Thanks.

Also, as Frazzeta himself said, "don't be a second-rate Frazzeta, be a first-rate you." Or something like that.

Matt

Good lord, that Hoffman guy is a major rippoff. It's not even the usual "heavily influenced by", it's totally 100% rippoff.

Oh, sorry Don; looks cool.

Row.

Great picture, I love the necklace on the guy.

Did you see one of the artists for Oddworld Inhabitants, Farzad Varahramyan, at the GDC? I heard he was giving a lecture.

As far as I see picture colors, the style and shapes remember me some of vebjorn's art. Is there any relation between or it just seems?

B.t.w. the pic looks very nice

Even making funny chars, you are still a big big artist Seeg.

I think I know your Painter scripts by heart, and step to step.
