the buldings look really nice. well done

whats happening to the guy in the air? is he taking beating or does he kickass ? hes position is really strage to me

the dof is annoying I think. and the two elements in the forground kind of crowds up the pic

The guy in the air is on the offensive here, with a jumping kick- the body is rotated in mid air and the kick comes down on an opponent. The other guy is throwing up a block.
Nice buildings. Are they available on templates or is it done freehand? BTW. Have you seen my site at http://www.hanzoinshortsleeves.com

Would you be interested in perhaps collaborating with backgrounds? E-mail me directly if so.

Thanks so far!

geelimp: Well. A shot of people in action can look strange some times. They're just fighting. That's it....
Leaving out the forground kills some depth in the pic. I know because I've tried.... Read the thing on my page btw.

Shinsetsu: I used travel brochures for reference.... It's all freehand. I'll check your page and send you a mail!

andskj: Yes. I have. Slightly though.

Thanks to you all. More crits would be nice - if you have.

Olve

Nice play of depth. Great focal point on the building. Leaving the fighters slightly blurry accentuates their movement. Nicely done.

I think it's great work . I like the action of it.

As for the crit, I think it's too blurry, between the foreground, the background blur, the motion blur... the sharpest elements are the (cool looking ) oriental buildings. I would suggest sharpening up the clear area the guys are standing on and some of the midground foliage that looks like it's at about the same depth as the building. Just a suggestion, Overall it's welldone.

Here's a new one.
I have written a bit about the process making this (sort of a tutorial, but not really....). You can find it under the "making of" section on my homepage: http://www.olve.net
Feedback and crits on this page as well would be really nice!

Thanks all!
Kreuze: You're right, the ground got a bit too blurry.... I might fix it, or maybe not....

it's got the fighting!!!
It's more like that guy in the air is doing his kicks while the other person trying to block
the buildings are really really good!
Love it
