So... ah... here's my soft style again. Smooth, glittery, pretty. Mmm...
And the image is done now.
Okay - I warned you - big download:
Head:
Original is 4300 pixels high at 300dpi.
Oh - and just added... if you want to take a closer look on its tail:
Pretty feather!
(Edit) Uploaded new version.

Well, you already know how I feel about this anyway, so no big loss. The same applies to the finished picture, only more so. 
The background and tail (being the only bits I hadn't seen already) worked out
amazingly well. And, of course, the glittery bits. Love it! |

andskj: Heh, this one was just one of those pictures that /happen/... I was inspired by my own cutsey bird-thing in another thread, and just started working.

Blade: Um... like most artists, I've always been painting... and since I'm 23, it's been a few...ah... days. On the computer, I've painted for two years or so.

| Oh, what a pretty peacock! I've had one of those long, long work-filled nights, and it really raised my spirits, seeing all the bright, sparkling colours. I particularly like the flowers--so lush! I'd say this is your best non-portrait yet. |

I wish I had stuff like that in my portfolio, One question.. Did you free hand that into the computer ie sketching or using paths to fine tune your shapes?

I'm so glad to see that everyone likes this one. I put a lot of effort into it (and I'm feeling it, now - completely uninspired... Gah!)
Um, I'm too tired right now and on my way to bed, but someone asked if I was drawing this freehand or if I was using... Um... paths? Since I don't even know /how/ to use paths, I guess I'm drawing freehand
