That's pretty good, but on the other hand it's too close to Giger for me. It could almost be a ripoff (I'm not implying this is one). So if your goal is to make it look like Giger it's good. |

I think ripping off artists is fine for a while. when you're learning it's good. If you not learning from it then youre just ripping yourself off and wasting your time. No one has claims to a style. However, if you're phoney, no one will repect you. We're all standing on the backs of the masters, but I think the creative process is more rewarding the more it comes from yourself. Do giger's style until it develops into your own. If you want. |

well, thanks, yes it was intended to be very gigerish. It's not the typical kind of work i do (mostly cartoons), but i guess there is something to do using the legacy of Giger, specially with digital art...
I think also that because it's in black & white it reminds you very much of it, i'll work with more colors next time... |

i think its fine looking all gigerish! I mean, why should Giger have all the fun drawing b&w pipes, aliens and freaky chicks?
