Hi people I just made this paper texture in DarkTree. It's a procedural texture creation tool that is a must have IMHO. Please crit both the texture and the drawing. TIA

i think that is a cool effect. the drawing is good. i love drawings with earthtones. my only crit is i'd like to see more midtones and darker darks.
what other kinds of textures can you make?

With Darktree I really believe it's just a matter of exploration and creativity and you can create just about anything. Stone, wood, metals, plastics, animated fx etc. You're right about the mid tones and the darks I haven't drawn on toned paper in a while. 8)

Visit www.darksim.com it is a truly amazing piece of software. I've been fortunate enough to be on the beta testing team for the past 3 years. It really shines in 3D applications too. There are plug-ins for 3DS Max, Aimation Master, Lightwave, and Truespace.

texture and drawing, both very nice. i wonder how the rest of this creature would look. its a dino, isnt it ? well great face the texture is also amazing id like to have this tool...
