Hey there!
What a wonderful board you've got here! I just can't resist the urge to post something, so here goes: http://home14.inet.tele.dk/xadhoom/ze_duckling.jpg
This is an image I've made for the good old adventure "The ugly duckling". It could still use a lot of detailing, but I'm a clown at texturing, and are currently trying to learn how to do it. Any of you know a site with good tutorials on this subject?

Damnit, how do I make the image show directly on the page, instead of that pesky linking-stuff?? |

That's pretty cool! I like the cartoony look to it. Sorry i cant help you with the textures though
I love the chicken's face!...
EDIT- To display an image in the boards: use image tag's... there should be a link to it, when you compose a reply, but anyway you do this:

The sketch in itself is quite good, but you should do work more on the shading.
For a start, never shade with burn/dodge. Hope this helps. |

My suggestion would actually be the direction of your eyes... the rooster should be looking up a bit more... I think his vision caries into the ground.
I'm glad to have another cartoonist around here.

^ Yeah i just noticed that, it looks more like the rooster is peeping at the ducks butt, and the duck is getting creeped out by it. I still think it's good though... |

You know, that kinda adds a whole new dimension to the image...
Naw, you're right...it actually does look like it's looking at the duckling's butt. Oops... |
