dark and ominous...the texture of the bandages and skin look appropriate. "decay" reads well too...I like it.

Your stuff always has it's own feel to it. I think it's the textures you use that contributes to that "feel" Do you scan your own textures?

how long has this person been...decaying?

No, Spit, I didn't. There's a lot more work involved. I used many, many textures to get this look, a lot of airbrushing, et cetera.

I agree that it is hard to make a picture look like you did but it really isn't your work. If i paint a mustache on the mona lisa does that make it mine? Just put some white stuff on your face, wrap it in cheese cloth and take a picture. Don't you see the copyright?

I didn't simply colorize it, goddamnit. I can put up the fucking PSD if you don't believe me.

If I owned a digital camera, I would have taken my own pictures. But I don't, so I have to get my pictures somewhere else.

I have to admit, I was blown away when I saw the first picture, yesterday.

Now that I see the original, I'm significantly less so. I really loved the Decay pic, but seeing how close it is to the original image just makes me feel lied too, cheated, in a way.

But that's my problem, right? Each to their own, I guess.
