HAHAHAHAHAHA - you really made an entertaining demo. oh my god, those characters really suck you in. simple, but great motion design and storytelling. good luck and i hope you get picked up where you want to be so that you can develop your animation skills. i will show it around here.

Ohhhh, shhhhit!
Too many talents.
I think the flash experiments would be great projected at about 15 feet squared.

Cool, you finally found the big "FORUM BUTTON"
Maybe you can post a mpthree link to the high res music of the fim? And show some more pictures of that girl!

Awesome SANANA!!!
A pity that girl is so shy to show her talent! (front and back talent, of course).
Really nice game!
Silber, the complete sequence would be:
"A Spanish or a Belgium bat?"
"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh" |

It's odd really...
I've had a lot of positive respons but the job offers are just so/so. It seems the animation is not good enough for the somewhat bigger projects/studios. I guess I have to go back an practise just a little bit more :)

SWEET! Its a nice, complete piece that shows a consistant style, coupled with an ability to animate to music. Why wouldn't that be enough to get you in the door?
for an animator-
It shows that you handled a single project well. A reel is usually OK if its no more than 5 minutes in length. In that 5 minutes, you should show a diverse set of what you can do, including traditional drawing, (especially life drawing, and maybe a page of hands) some dramatic acting. A variety of styles to show that you aren't a one trick pony.
for a games animator-
You'd want to add to the list above low-poly modeling (in a different style), and some cycles to show that you know how to get a smooth, looping animation without it looking terribly odd.
Good Luck with your job search!
BTW, you may want to check out http://www.cg-char.com
which is a mailing list dedicated to CG character animation. This topic of Demo Reels has been raging for days on the discussion list.

It all depends on what kind of job oppertunities there are really. People have asked me for motion capture clean up jobs, but should I really jump on an oppertunity like that?
So far nobody is really interested in my animation or design skills, I'll just have to do better if I want to find a job.
That's life I suppose.
