Hi. I have created a page showing some stuff I have made. These images have not really been shown before, so I am really interested in all sorts of feedback. Please comment directly at this board or e-mail me at [email protected]. The URL for the page is http://www.angelfire.com/scifi/elmaed/index.html |

These are very good pieces you have put up here. I can imediately recognise a unique style you have given each piece. Really nice use of colour and shading. What about your 3D? Is there a gallery for any of that? |

there is one above others in my opinion - the fella smoking in spaceship's bar (or something)He has very strong character and the mood is also great.
I like the others too but they are quite static (that is part of the style i guess). The color use and unnatural light gives nice feeling.

Very nice work indeed.
Everyone else must be too lazy to check out your site since they are not commenting. Your art is easily comparable to that of many of the other top artists here.

You have a beautiful style. I love the 'substantial/rich' quality of your rendering especially in the 'Hangman' pic.
Candy for my eyes, keep them coming.

I've been browsing these forums today, and I must say that I am very impressed (and surprised) by this generous atmosphere together with all high-class works and artists.
Thanks everybody for commenting on my images. I've been doing all sort of illustrations for some years now, but always in other styles than my own. I've always considered my personal style to be somewhat unpopular and lame. Your comments have boosted my confidence a great deal.
I'm still very interested in hearing some harder critique (I can take it...). Most of the images definately lack something, but I just cant't put my finger on what it is. Kerosene's point about the images being static is very accurate, but I have no idea of how to handle it. I like the images very clear, focused and firm, but it takes it's toll. Could it be a matter of colour maybe? Or detail? or the lack of reference? Aaaargh...

my favorites are the space cowboy and the cigar girl. i love your style. i'd be repeating what has already been said. your work made my day. what medium do you use? pastel?
i actually like the static compositions. the only thing that bugged me was the stars behind the planet in the space cowboy picture. they seem to not fit the rest of the style. did you place them in there from another program? i'd love to see the same softer, mutted colors as the foreground.
