I like them all, thought the 2nd one is my favourite.
Anyway, I think the first one gives the impression of not being able to raise its arms too long, nor even moving them properly. I think it is because of its shoulders and their rigid appearence.
Just an opinion, and anyway I think 2nd and 3rd are fantastic. |

tayette - thankyou I agree with you about that top one, his upper body just looked very wrong to me too.. I'm going to alter it a little, bring the traps out some more and drop the shoulders maybe to look more like he does in the one below. (I hope it was obvious these are all of the same creature) I want the neck to be able to retract which is why it is more in..
Myros - haha i wish thanks
(edited the top one cause i didn't like it too much, thinks its probly abit better)

Hey Cos,
I think it looks familiar to dark angel because you posted a similar picture to it earlier in a topic you called: "Alien Concepts." He probably recognizes it from viewing that earlier post, without knowing it was you in the first place.
Awesome work by the way. Wouldn't want to meet that sucker in a dark alley even if I was heavily armed!
Radiater.

Middle picture is amazing, I like the other sketches as well. What did you use to color it?

sweet, I like the texture. It's oldschool in a godzilla kind of way. |
