I like it.
I wouldn't have known it was a '3' though unless you had mentionned it. Maybe if you put an outline around the '3', it might stand out more.

kind of less vivid that way, i will do some color test, and if i get something cooler i'll post, thanks for the tip masta synj

drorak, well, that's what my friend wanted, zebra written in plain letters and the "3" behind the zebra itself. and the idea
of adding an outline is not bad, but given that my man's nickname is zebra3, when people are going to see this logo on his
homepage they'll figure out... thanks for the tip tho!

Awesome. I love doing logo design every once and a while. Its a good break from the norm.
Anyway, I really like this style. one crit would be to make the three a little more readable. Without already knowing what it says I would've thought it was just a compositional thing and not a part of the name. Other than that, cool. I like the colors.

(edit) I just read the other posts, looks like the "3" has been addressed already.
