Okay, here we go. I play roleplaying games, for those who haven't figured yet. Occasionally, I play Vampire.

I have this hunch that my character in Vampire is about to...well... not live too long.

So I created a new one. Her name is Josephine, she's a fashion designer. She's also a Malkavian.

sahripper: Heh, thanks this is what happens when I grow blind to my own pictures.

I gave her a nose job - does this look better everyone?

tayete: *blushes* Thanks!

Flexible Elf: Thankee!

(edit) I think I've managed to fix her hand a little!
(edit2) Adding a close up of her eye to show her nifty makeup

Enayla.

I always love the ethereal feel to your textures. It's so fantasy driven, and fantastic. Such a great feeling to it.

Some of the highlights and lighting you come up with reminds me of Sergio Oliva's airbrush work. Just great

The only crit I'd have for this (the new nose looks great) is that the lighting on the hand in the foreground makes it seem very flat up to the metacarpels.

Other than that, I love it.

Hi Enayla!
Looks good!My only crits would be the hand.
It looks a little bit flat compared to the rest. Define the shapes of it more and it'l look fine. Also i have a hard time figuring out the texture on the green clothing around her neck and upper body. Is it made out of Rubber?

Kanske lite hrdare skuggor hadde passat ocks p vissa stllen fr att f mer djup i bilden.Bara ett frslag. Hppas att det kan hjlpa p nt stt .

DarkGarden: I know the hand looks ... crappy ... I've really tried fixing it up, but then I got too tired and decided to wait until I was in a better mood I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

Flexible Elf: For this one, no photo reference, not beyond looking at the position of her arms on a picture of a model I saw somewhere

Micke: Thanks And yeah, I know about the hand... *hangs head in shame* I can't seem to get it right. The texture on the top clothing is... well... rubber or something *chuckle*... Inspired by a skirt I used to own. (Vad det gller skuggorna... tack Du har nog rtt. Jag fr tnka p det i nsta bild )

Whoa! Is it just me, or did a week feeling a bit under the weather do wonders for your inspiration? This is wonderful...

I really like the strong colours in this one, by the way. Her dress is fantasic. The nose job was a good move, too.

very nice. She has lots of character and the clothing looks good also. Looks like something that you would actually wear in a fantasyworld.

And for those who doesn't understand the beautiful language of the swedes and norweigan I can inform you that Micke and Enayla are using this board to hit on each other... Keep it up lovebirds...

Oh wow, this picture is getting a lot of nice comments. Wheeh!

Lomi: Thanks

Ed Lee: Yes, Vampire is pretty big in Sweden. And he was just telling me that I should've added some darker shadows

Dives: Was what I was aiming for Glad I succeeded!

Nex: Tehee... *happy her picture is liked* She is an actual character. My character. Pity I haven't been able to play her yet...

SlightlyTwisted: It did kind of kickstart my inspiration, yes. *smiles* Thanks

BooMSticK: Heheh, she's not a fantasy character, but thanks anyway *laughs*

DirtyWett:

Binke: Heheh, shall I now? Weeeelllll....

TheMilkMan: Thanks

Cheiron: Lineart? I'm sorry, but this picture is all mine - were you under the impression that I had only coloured it? I don't sketch in lines, but in colours... so there is no lineart to begin with. Sorry

Enayla: This piece is awesome. I wasn't going to waste space echoing "oohs" and "aahs" because I knew you'd get plenty of those anyway, but I really have to say that the more I see this, the more I like it. Beautiful!

sacrelicious:

Flexible Elf: All right, all right, they are pretty similar I promise I didn't look at her while drawing though (I rarely need reference for female faces). Personally, I think the vampire gal looks more like an unknown actress that played a character in a rather unknown (and crappy) series called "Popular"...

(edit) just tried to clarify my tired babble

Theres something odd about her nose/eye positioning... cant really place it.

I like it though. A typical Enayla.

Enayla: Is Popular an American TV show? Because I think I know the actress you're talking about if it is. Short blonde hair? It'd be funny if it wasn't a U.S. show, and I just pulled that one out of the air, especially since I can't shake the resemblance now...

Spitfire: Thanks You might be right about the eyes... I'll see if I will fix it, though it'll be difficult since the latest versions of the picture have been flattened (meaning the hair is, well, part of the face by now)... Not sure what I can do, but I'll try. Heheh, is there something as a typical Enayla now? That's pretty neat

sacrelicious: I think we're thinking about the same girl, yes A friend of mine first pointed it out to me, and I haven't been able to let it go.

Great pic. I love the airbrush effect around the eyes.

On the matter of Mellisa Joan Heart. You know if you look closely, you can see she's got a lazy eye? Its not just the poster, its everything she's in. No one ever believes me. Maybe I can get you all to believe me. Won't someone believe me? Please?

Ah well I guess I lose. Oh yeah, the girl Enayla drew doesn't look like M.J.H. She doesn't have a lazy eye.

Wow!

That looks fantastic, especially after the edit. I have to say the folds at the bottom of the dress make it all come to life.
- and the close up of the eye ... jesus!

The only thing I'm not sure about is the background, it seems to distract for the image as a while. All the parallel lines are a bit static - they have a bit of a motion-blur feel to them.

Apart from that one small thing though, I can't pick a fault. The intense black of the hair is awesome, and somehow helps the solidity of the character.

Well Done!
