Just a couple of quickies but I thought I'd post em anyways.
First one is a doodle on trying to work out an alien enviroment.
I decided to paint this up quickly to create more of the look
but I'm going to develop it, and also a creature concept.
Feedback is appreciated.

Very nice work, I like the colors of the alien and how you make the dramatic impact with the light. Just one thing, the right leg looks like the knee is broken, the way it is twisted looks strange, meaning the feet... |

garuda x - thanks
hurricane - hehe thanks, to be honest I'm gonna have to give ultra evil a break
for awhile. I think I'd rather do a cute fluffy version instead
Giant Hamster - havent seen that but thanks for the comp
The Fritz - Thankyou, I'm looking at the legs and I see what u mean, his right
footcould of been turning outwards more because of the direction the leg is going
in... well spotted, I didn't notice that I'm might try to alter it slightly so
it looks more correct. |

Hey man, mean looking environment. You could perhaps put some of those bridges/tentacle stuff coming more towards the viewer. It would look more dramatic and help to see the perspective. Quickies or not but I do really like how you define the skin textures and highlights on you creatures. Nice lighting on this one too. About the looks... he really seems more impish than straightforward scary and evil and as your stuff tend to be little dark natured it would actually be interesting to see you doing some fluffy happy acid stuff. Heh. Too tired, must sleep now.
