Hey guys. Been a long while since i posted anything....too busy w/ work and freelance gigs. I see Ed Lee has been busy tho...=)
Anyways, i finally got some time to update the "how i work" section on my website. Here's the image from the tutorial. I will draw a back view of this vehicle as well.
I got the inspiration after reading some magazines on WWII tanks....
So go check out the step by step process on my website. =)

In case you're looking for a crit... I don't think you have any sense or ability to see, come up with nice forms. The stuff you build is clumsy looking and bloated. It really resembles my gymnastics with english language - I know 5 different english words and use them in different combination. |

I was getting ready to post some drawings I did with tanks...
*looks around and sweeps his horrible drawings under the rug before anyone notices*
Cant say much about the design but I love how you textured the thing. I was wondering how I was going to do mine with my warm grays and this helps a bit with what I'm going to do.
Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the compliments....
**damn, i wrote this long reply...and i closed explorer by accident...shit**
Anyways, yeah, didn't spend too much time on the design...but i kinda like it. I just wanted to design something very heavy looking. Someone mentioned it looks clumsy? Well, aren't most WWII land based vehicles pretty clumsy looking? They are designed to kill while protecting it's cargo.....not for looks =)
I was thinking of doing some additional sample markering styles w/ this line sketch (darker marker, color, on toned paper, etc.). Would you guys like that? Or should i use a different line sketch?
Bizarde: yeah, i used PS for the shadow....would've done it w/ marker...but ran out of paper space. =P

Feng, that is an AWESOME drawing and great Tut! Do you use rulers or something? any tools to make lines/perspective so clean and neat? Is there any technique with using a ruler(I really can't use one, things smudge, I can't see the other side, parralel lines become intersecting ones..) And how do you get your circles so perfect?
Here's a pic to show you that I can't get clean lines(though this was quickly done in Photoshop with a tablet, it this is the sort of feeling I get when trying to do some concept sketch for vehicles..) http://fp.geocities.com/gbaudio/art/spiderrobot.jpg
But again, Great work man!
Tthe stuff on your site rocks!(When it displays the correct pictures)
