nice, the green and yellow highlights look real cool. I'd add some highlights tyo the hair though to make it as realistic as the face, real nice colors too

IMO the (flat) 2d hair with the shaded
face makes a very cool combination like
in your other pics
I'm curious how it would work if one could see more body of the charackter
(he has a very thick neck but I think that was purpose)

Very nice! Only one suggestion.. I think it would look better (just my opinion) if his body continued over the left edge. The narrow portion of the background color left there just bothers me somehow.

Cool, and for some reason a bit unsettling.

That's cool! And a bit scary....
Nicely rendered too.
Just add some more tones to the BG (crop a bit?) and smoothen the right side (seems like some erasing leftovers or something those pixels) and it's perfect!

hi there you guys, sorry for not writing back in a timely manner but i was in paris with my
gf and that was pretty sweet, anyway, let's go with the answers...

greenpeach: matisse was a great master, and i'm definitely not one thanks!
dryfire: thx! of course i could highlight the hair, he would look more real... but to be honest i like to play with flat areas and "realistic" areas
daz199: thanks! well, the background might look a bit empty, right...
frost: ahah, oui p-e un ami m'a aussi dit cela, mais c'est pas voulu cette ressemblance
silber: thank you! glad to see you like the way i proceed... i'll do characters with whole bodies one day
rhomb: thanks, interesting comment, i keep in mind what you said...
tree merchant: thanks, janne is the man, no doubt, well, it might look like janne a bit, i don't know exactly, maybe he could answer
himself, hehe...
sedone: thank you guy!
olve: thanks... i know the bg kinda sucks, but i just like doin' it that way... the way francis bacon did it... thanks for the tips tho!
bilbo: thanks

ok guys, already enough babbles...
see y'all.

sweet stuff as always! funny that tree merchant should mention that this could be inspired by my stuff... hmm. as flattering it is i don't think it is the case. at least i don't see any similarities. sear has very strong(and good!) sense of style himself.
