This was an observational drawing I did of some old African water jug. It's done in 2b and 8b pencils. Please crit/comment. Thx.

Love it.
The attention to detail is awsome.
I imagine this would have been quite enjoyable(as far as lengthy pencil sketches go) due to the range of textures, ridges, lighting etc.

Aswome Akolyte.

Wow, that's awesome. Pencil is still one of my favorite mediums. I love how you can make pencil images express so much.

I agree, great detail....there's something about the shadow on the ground that doesn't seem right though I can't pinpoint it...maybe it's just me. Anyhow nice work.

coil_weevil: the shadow should be correct, but I might have messed something up. No, I probably messed it up

Thats cool. Nice demonstration of skill...

The shadow is a bit strange, maybe it should be darker?....just a suggestion.

Perhaps only darker around the lower right of the jug, to increase the contrast between the shadow and jug itself.

good work!
the only thing that bugs me is the shadow. next time, draw ne lines in the direction of the plane of the table. right now the shadow seems to float above the table (or floor or whatever)

but this is great

Wow, you sure have a lot of patience. The subject doesn't sound that interesting, but still you've managed to spend a moment or two with this piece..

Great work man.
I would like to have a closer look on it, to see how you did the details.
