Glad you gave us just the pic of the clouds. Those are killer.
as for if its A sexual. Im not sure about that Visigoth. It looks mail to me but with out the u know what. But every thing ells points to mail for me.
One thing I think gives me a little problem and thats the eyes. Wish I could see the eyes. But I guess it makes it a little more mistearouse becouse we cant see the eyes. Good work.
When I first opend the file I was just taken back with the composition and quality of work. You can tail you put a good amount of time into this. Very nice Eneyla. |

the BKG and color scheme sort of remind me of the Mona Lisa, interesting stuff. |

Were you not entirely pleased with this? What's with the :\ face beside your post? I like the loose, impressionistic way you've done the sky. The one problem I can see is that the ground beneath the angel looks rather motion-blurred. It's difficult to tell if it's land or water or an extension of the sky.
Apart from that, the wing-feathers are beautifully done, + I like the expression on his face. I always look forward to seeing your pictures. (Now, if I'd just get back to work on my OWN pictures...dammit....)

yeah the drawing is really good, i dont know if the angel should be on the left side of the image tho... it makes the images seem kinda unbalenced
i really love the feathers tho
the sky is really great but the land near the horizon line looks weird

Thanks everyone
Socar: the not so happy smiley hasn't got that much to do with the picture as it has with my mood at the time. Sometimes I'm just plain happy that it's not as satisfying flipping a pic into the trashcan on the computer as it is to tear apart paper.
el tigre: I know the picture The guy is highly based on a picture a friend sent me the other week when I was tearing my hair apart over not managing to draw a nise pose for him (I've been working with photo reference lately because I'm trying to make the guys on my picture look like guys - not girls)

Well, you already know how much I love this.
I just thought I'd add that your practice is paying off, your doing a great job of making your men look more manly, without making them look hard edged and clumsy. It looks like a bloke, and it looks beautiful. Success! |

*beams at faustgfx*
*smiles at SlightlyTwisted* Thanks! I'm trying and trying... I'm just so afraid I'll lose the "prettiness"... but it seems like I'm managing to keep it.

Enayla great pic. I really like the overall feel, very moody. The detail on the wings is amazing as are the clouds.
How long would you spend on a piece like this, especially with the amount of detail present in your work? |

Thanks people
Axl: This one took me /quite/ a while actually. I can't say exactly how many hours but I've been working on it on and off for nearly two weeks. Ten minutes before my friends show up, two hours before I go to bed, half an hour before I head for work... like that, it adds up to a lot in the end I guess, but I don't know exactly how much.

Very nice i think the colors are amazing! and the feathers are as well!
i think you should do a female evrsion as well like you have done in the past, (only because when i think of angel i think of a woman, yet your male one IS DAMN COOOL!)

I love the background and I almost love the person. The only thing I don't like about it is that it looks like (although I know you didn't) draw two pictures and paste them together. Like a collage. I think this is because you have the angel at a different perspective then the plane he is on. I love the background to know end and I wish I had drawn it. The person's skin is also fantastic I love that smooth silky look you have it reminds me of the covers of paperback books on the way out of the grocery store. That is not an insult at all and please don't take it as one. The other thing is a very small thing that is the picture, the eyes. Chuck Jones says in his autobiography, I could have been a master fine artist if I could paint eyes. During the period before he got into animation he did portraits on the street. He said that he would always paint people at a profile and he would make them looking down. I've always felt that colors create the mood of the picture and eyes accent that mood. Does the angel want to be there? Is he loving being on the water that is usually shown through the eyes. This picture reminds me alot of michalangelo's paitings when he worked on the circular paintings. Just trying to help. Sorry I wrote so much. I am a fan.
