Here you go guys, my first Wacom piece. I still can't get over the feeling this thing gives me when I draw. Its like I'm not even drawing on a computer..not restricted like with a mouse...ooh so relaxing. Enjoy!

Penciled art I did:

does it look better smaller? I mean how often do you guys shrink the things you're drawing?

Oopsie, I just noticed that I forgot to color in the left arm...hrmm fixed that in the re-upload just now

It's pretty good. Though he's a little too big and bulky looking.

Boba Fett rules!

Lovely strokes! The only crit I have is that he's a bit blown up from the shoulders and his torso.
Now he looks like a bodybuilder which is NOT Boba Fett...

Nice job there. Just goes to show what a good sketch can lead to. I always sketch first

Alright, the left arm's fixed and I brightened up the picture a bit for those that don't have the adobe gamma set as high as mine. Thanks for the comments guys.

I've yet to post any of my art...but I feel I'm free to comment. It's a bit dark in contrast and doesn't carry over as much detail as the sketch, but it's a good image. I like it smaller for some reason...great start imo! One question though...doesn't boba have red in his suit to?

nice nice, i think you should have kept with the original lighting in your pencil: more light on the chest and right arm but, that might just be my opinion, nice pic though the pencil sketch is really nice

coil weevil - yea, I thought I'd contrast a lot on this pic to give more depth to it since I heard that people paint too much with mid tones, making the images look half-washed. Boba Fett has different costumes in the two movies he appeared. Greenish in ESB and Orange/Greenish in Jedi(me thinks). But this was done off the top of my head, so I improvised on his color scheme. If you look closely enough, you'll see hints of blue and orange on his sleeve.

Dryfire - I just thought it'd be fun to try painting with a back light instead of the frontal light in the pencil sketch. Thought it'd make it look more dramatic with backlight. But I see what you mean, I painted too dark.

thanks for the comments!
