Just painted this for a rather in depth tutorial that I am doing on digital figure painting. Decided to go ahead and post the piece before the tutorial is ready.
Have a look if you like. www.seegmiller-art.com

Can t wait!!!

I love all your work Seeg. Especially your female painting (oil) on your site.
Very impressive!

I got 2 questions:

What kind of medium did you used when painting with oil? I use tinner on my oil painting or... sometimes, only Nuts oil medium to change color fast. What do you think, Is it a good choice?

Another question:
How many time it takes to you to paint the new 5 x 7 on your oil webpage?

That s all -
Thanks in advance!

I'm interested in knowing what sort of brushes do you use in Painter?

Shardick. good call, the hip is indeed off. Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. Thanks

Vracky I use Liquin. I can not recommend using straight thinner when painting. It tends to weaken the paint film. Using any oil plain, you must be careful. To much and you will wail forever to dry and you risk getting an orang peel look. Just a little should be fine but it will increase drying.

It takes me about eight hours to paint a 5 x 7 inch painting.

Binke, If you are on a PC you can download the main brushes that I use on my web site. If you are on a Mac, let me know and I can send you some jpgs of the brush settings.

Sempere, the PC scripts can be converted to work on the Mac. I understand that there is a utility on the Painter disk but since I am on PC have never tried.

Thaks everyone for the compliments. I should have the tutorial done fairly soon.

Don

Seeg, technically awesome as ever.

I have a bit technical question:
Are the Painter scripts PC and Mac compatible or are limited to the machine version?

Thanks.

Man, I love your work, both funny and photorealistic but I got one thing to say:
8 freakin' hours on a 5 x 7 painting???

Damn, don't even have the patience for eight hours

Anywayz, waiting for your tutorial
