Okay bear in mind the original is 420mm by 290mm in 300dpi CMYK .tiff And prints supersharp and clear, the JPG compression and RGB switch took a huge amount of contrast and color out, making it look darker and much less detailed than it comes out of the printer.

| Damn I really like the style of this image, really nice Spitfire. One question though...is it true to acheive this look you have to scan dirty stuff and other wierd shit? |

Most definitely. The dirty lines are scanned cellotape and the splotches a paper map. No digital effect can ever reproduce the randomness of something damaged by everyday use.
