I'm slowly but surely piecing together my story idea. It's an epic fairy tale, incredible love stories, huge wars, great characters, and all around emotion.
Here's sort of an idea of the broad scape I want to capture. I really hope to make more to show you.

This captures an atmosphere reminiscent to an anime "Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind", one of my favourites.

Nice, Isric

you're really starting to get the "epic" feeling down. This is also one of the only places I've seen Yellow used which I like^_^ Usuialy I can't stand it.

keep up the good work!

Awesome. A great sense of a stormy wind through a golden haze. The clouds in the distance are great too. Very nice indeed!

Ian: Some excellent pointers by Spooge, Fred and WacoMonkey :- http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum2/HTML/003920.html
Though the pictures are missing.

This advice is a bit simplistic, but I think it would feel grander if you simply expanded the canvas to reveal more domes/structures. I also get the feeling that the guy is going to go sliding off at any moment

Great job. I'm a big fan of your work.

[edit- try to sound clearer]

i already replied to this, but in response to making it grander.. i think the building he's standing on looks very flat. if you can somehow give it a little more form i think it will add a lot to the depth of the image.

Man isiric you are to amazing..how old are you like 16-17...I agree you have used yellow amazingly well here...god I wish I could VISIT a place with colors like that someday. I agree with Icannon though the building he is standing on is flat and it is because the texture lines in the building are not fallowing any kind of countour. Also you want to show the lighting off so that it has more depth...other then that..it is amazing!

{edit } ...just pretend that thing is standing on is a cylinder and color accordingly ..the lighting should look better and give it more depth...also you might want to tine down the texture on it.....make it more subtle..smaller cracks..etccc....make sure when you color that is has a soft gradient rather then giving it a hard edge color...make scense?

Makes perfect sense, thank you Milkman. (I just turned 18 last month, if I could do this stuff when I was 16 that would be incredible)
Now to the next one.
