I really like this! My favorite parts are the orange light and his fingers. I also like what I think is another robot in the bg... very cool 
Your artwork is worthy of some place better than Geocities Capt.

A really good thing in your pics is that the mechanics look convincing; it seems they could really work.
I'm not sure but it almost looks like the missing foot is not on the same floor plane with the other, sinking through the floor.

Great. Like Gecko I think there are some perspective problems. Also his left arm seems odd to me - like it will have trouble bending. Maybe its just because it looks a little stiff... Then again he's a mechanical stiff robot... ahh, rambling. Great work Capt.!
