I was wondering, did you use photoshop to do this or a vector based program like illustrator ? Im asking cuz it kinda looks like it could be done in illustrator..

I use photoshop strictly, I believe it could be done in illustrator but maybe not as easily. I build shapes up by using the hexagonal tool.
