good start.
I'd suggest varying your value more(darker darks, lighter lights). Mess around with putting some white colored pencil over top or maybe even some white paint. Also the line art is kinda getting lost in the marker work.
I like your gestural style. Keep up the good work. There are a lot of artist in the forum who are very good with markers so keep your eyes peeled.

Yo Joe-GetupKid. your one of those artist who knows what there doing with those markers!

Jason, are you a hippie? All the people I've ever met from Eugene were hippies.

More? I did these today. They are both not complete because my markers are drying up But I'm getting more soon. Tell me what you think. Personally I think the second one's mouth is messed up and the first one is my favorite I've drawn so far.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad I finally was able to get them up, it's been a pain.

Anyhoo:

Get-up Kid- I can see what your saying. In my next few I will try contrasting the darks and the lights more. I did pickup some gouche paint, and I will experiment with that a bit too.

Jason- Thanks.

Any more comments. When I get home I will post a few more in progress pics from the same series.

`What sort of people live about here?' asked Alice.

`In that direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in that direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad...'

These are really nice, the fox-lookin' thing reminds me of Fire & Ice on the Amiga.

Like your second posts better, more dynamic.

Markers are running out? Tell me it ain't so, how long have you had them?

Tigre- I haven't had them long and not all of them are running out, just the ones I use the most. I also let my friend use them quite a bit, and I really don't care if they run out, even if they're sorta pricey. The orginal sizes of them are 8.5x11 and the last two are bigger, I just shrunk all of them down to be bandwidth friendly.

Any more comments. If nothing, tell me why you don't like them so I can get better.
