woah.. thats really cool. I like the idea of using 3d for 2d things liek your picture. I'd be real confussed with the textures and how to make them look all transparent... Good job though |

thats amazing, did you do that in Max? was it all 3d done or was it 3d/2d? which parts are which, it looks great. |

Yes, all the 3D is done in MAX.
I basically went in there and rendered a few diffrent versions of the scene..one with the light rings, one with some combustion ( for haze ),one with the code, and one with the credits. Then I just overlayed them in Photoshop. Light layer first and then I used screen layer option on all the other layers. Maybe a few duplicate overlay options on the code layer to really bring it.
The guy is all 3D.
So basically everything is 3D, I just used Photoshop to composite the images and put the text in.
Glad you guys are liking it. Wait till you see the rest of the comic...it is going to finally put 3D comics on the map!
