I am making a movie...using after effects lightwave 5.5 and photoshop. It's a series I plan to do more episodes of called D7 Peacemaker. YOu guys here have some real skill so if you're interested in working on it with me hit me an email. What I am looking for is some future cityscapes and vehicles etc...etc.. I have everything pretty much designed really need more production as opposed to creative. There is no budget but any helping will receive full credit on the movie. Either way or here's the main chracter.

often creativity is the art of putting two or more things you already know together to bring about something totally new; hence fusion |

Hey thanks...I'm finishing off the story now and I have some 30-40 frames story boarded. This is getting really good. I'll be sure to keep you all updated on my progress.

Hmmm I dont think any of these people can appreciate what goes into making an animation like myself...anyways this pic looks good. I would like to see something from the actual animation myself. So you are using 3d effects in this anime??? Hmm hard to pull off well...will you be doing painted backgrounds?? I myself am working on an anime but the thing is I have about 1 min done and it has been 3 months....you know work and all...anyways man the planing stage kills me....story boards character design set concept ....color keys ..effetcs tests. The worst part for me though is sound. I ahve no freinds that are sounds people so no one to bum sounds from.....I might have to pay someone...what are you doing about this problem??? Keep up the good work!
Ohh and here is a link to a facial animation test I did...in flash just a short snipit as I dont want to actully release anything as of yet...but just so you dont think I am talking out of my ass....hey is anyone else helping you with this or are you a lone gunman ? www.theartofstarwars.com/anime-1.swf

I'm alone on this right now but that doesn't bother me. I have always done my movies with 2d chracters and 3d backgrounds. I never have had any painters to make 2d backgrounds and usually I build all the 3d backgrounds anyway so it's easier. I can get any angle of any shot I want whenever I want it. As opposed to being constrained to a 2d matte. Anyways.
Well generally I can produce around 10-15 minutes of footage in a month. Depending on the quality of course. My Epcot movies are like 10 minutes and we had 3 and a half weeks to finish it and that some 100 layers per scene so we got through that.
I think my trick is that I can draw each finished frame in like 5-10minutes. This makes it easier on me producing 200 drawn assets. For this movie I think I'll have more than 200 though. I am already at like 90 or so, and that's about 5 minutes of screen time. Concerning 2d chracter animation....I don't do it. Just a bunch of scaling stills and after effects. But I do have a few animators who may get on this. If they do then I leave the animation to them.
Anyways good luck on your movie. Thanks for the commentary.

Yeah I know about the pinky. I just slapped this together to advertise...nothing special. Concerning the chracter. The one at the end of the website intro is acutally a different chracter. Her name is Sande Shi No Tenshi, she's from the Mekura movie. I should drawn her leg out a little more and dropped some of the effects cause actually the two look really different. Just that shot for some reason makes them look the same.
