Thx for the crits people!

Now the details about my nick I promised.

gLitterbug: consists of glitter & Litterbug

the bug is based on Eleodes suturalis say(American Deathbug) which rises his back when he feels threatened and sprays some kind of acid at his opponent.

I expanded that idea, so that he opens his "wings?" and reveals his very bright and shiny back(acts like flashlight) to blind his victim to hide how deadly he is. So the victim stands defenceless before him.

In the stroke the idea is that the g is shiny like the bugs back and hides the dirt on the rest of the stroke so people are blinded and dont realise that in reality they see shit!

The idea is based on an insider-joke between me and my best friend.
We always talked about how many companies and people hide something "dirty" or "bad" behind "graphischem Blendwerk" (graphical illusion?) and how good this method works to make people buy bad products,...

Liked that idea very much and thought it fits me excellent. Also the words glitter & Litterbug were very good to combine.

more to follow....

Cool pic, glitterbug, i actually prefer all the crappy stuff that is behind the gold, much more interesting to look at at...what are all these ideas for anyway?

The weld marks on the 'L' look real cool, nice detail.

Hello Faust, couldnt resist to paint a new pic when I read your reply!
Its far from finished but I stopped working on it, think its not too bad for a fun pic.

Sure has some bugs but not all as bad as the biggest of them

for a bigger version
painted in 4000x3000 original

I really think its somehow poor that one has to reply to his own thread to keep it alive, but I think its less poor if that guy has 2 drawings in it, one made because of a two worded reply.
Hope u dont hate me caus of that, but I really want to hear your opinions on my Logo!
On the pic as well as on the idea.
Thx again to all who replied!

Here some details of myself:

Im 19 years old, live in Austria and at the moment do my military service.
Before, I attended a technical college, dep. for control engineering.
In the 3rd class it began to become demotivating having 40 and more hours per week, without something that really interested me. I got bad marks, had to repeat the 4th class and after realising that things wont get better I quit school.

Most people think Im dumb when I tell them I quit school in the 4th class, but after telling them my motivation, most people understand.
Sure I wont have it easy to find a job and earn less money, but I hope that I can start my own business as soon as possible.
My long term goal is to found my own game-company but theres much work to do to achieve that, but Im sure I will make my way.
Another thing Im sure about is, that I will never do something that I dont want to, if theres another possibility!

Ive been reading posts in this forum for a long time and I really like it...no I love it. Theres always one browser window open for it.
I hope in the future I wont be only a passive part, but much more an active member of this community.
