Yeah that's a totally nice representation of like an "information stream" or inside a computer or something. Probably exactly what you're shooting for.
It looks good! I'd have to see the animation to really comment, but it might be good to show something in that black area at the top, to show what you're heading towards or something. Just a thought!

it looks like the tunnel is cut quit roughly in the top area but it's still very cool.
don't forget to post the fininshed aniimation when it's done. DONT FORGET!! :P
