This drawing is a lot like my first post, I did one after the other. It's sorta a (dark/funny)drawing of my brother and myself, I'm on the right. I used a couple photos in this one.

zee one on the left is okay.
i'd appreciate it more if it was 100% hand made.

I think it's important to take full advantage of the medium (the computer). That's why we're using it right? It can do stuff that a paints can't. I think the touch of the hand makes a work richer also, but let's keep our options open. |

yeah, i have issues with deviantart hugging crap that is just about this formula:
- overlay 50 photos
- rape them with filters
- stick Tool lyrics on top of it
- upload
- call it ultimate art and design
the pic he posted isn't bad, and it doesn't go in to this formula nor does it go to the deviantart hugging cathegory, but GRRRRR.

ANY and ALL processes can be used well and effectively, or thoughtlessly. Even Tool lyrics.

Umm.. I strongly believe GreenPeach didn't take photos of his brother's innards. Unless he had the sudden urge to flop that jugular vein onto the floor and take pictures of it. Obviously, he knows what he's doing, be it photographed or not, he seemlessly integrated them, as I did not know the were photos in the first place. Weird concept, crappy discussion, but good painting. |

Oh wow, that is incredible. It's a very nice balance too. They compliment each other, each one showing the vulnerablility and strength of the other. The armour man looks strong next to the flesh man, but he also looks colder, more unmovable, whereas the flesh man looks...real, like he has emotions and pains.
I really like this a lot. It's inspiring. |
