Hi All

This is my 80's contribution to MIkael's thread, and I was very inspired by Adam Hughes.

crits and comments are welcome

Hey nice one!
Just one thing a bit strange : her skin is painted in a more 'realistic'detailed way than her outfit which is far more plain...

Inspired by Adam Hughes means the skin will be more realistic. It's the stlye.
Very nice picture by the way, makes me wish it were still the 80's

She has big thighs.

May I ask, would you intend to make a website for your artwork? I would love to see more.

How long did it take you for this? And at what resolution was it painted in?Was this painted with layers or channels?

I hope you don't mind the questions. Whenever I see good and inspiring artwork, it makes me wonder how it was made.

Thank you for your time.

You Innerloopers have the ability to adopt any style and perfect it almost immediately. It's very inspiring.

Needless to say, awesome work Chester. I wish you'd post more of your stuff. I love the knees for some reason, they are so slick looking.. I want to lick them. :P

Very nice, I really like this.
Lots of detail on the face, arms and legs, although her thighs look kind of large in relation to the bottom half of her legs.
Just noticed that the left trainer has the brown part over the toe and the right doesn't.

God that's a cool piece. The rendering on the skin is just amazing, and I do NOT think it clashes with the parts that aren't as detailed.

Though if you DID insist on messing with it anymore the ONLY place to touch would be the shorts. Perhaps lessen the back lines in the shorts a little and suggest a little bit more form with color/shading -- maybe HALFWAY between the way you did the shorts and the shirt.

But nah it's perfect how it is.

The rendering of the skin is just unbelievably nice.
I'm pretty amazed.

Beautiful work, the colors are really fresh.

The socks need red and blue rings at the top... hihi. But I do remember my sister using those high, white socks.

The norwegian football team was by some people called "Norway Whitesox" far out in the 90's..... That's something...

Hot damn!

That tends to be my only thought for a long time, then I start wondering about things...

is she holding a cell phone? That's so 90's!
(heh, nevermind, I see it right, now)

and then I think again

hot damn!

-- I feel like adding, the skin rendering is really fantastic! don't usually see it that good around here and I think I could learn a few things just looking at this pic

Damn that looks great. I really like the face and hair. I don't think shes using a cell phone. It looks like she just has her hand on her head.

hot momma

but i still say that if leaving the non-skin parts simple is the "style", than i dont like that style. if u can make the clothes as incredible as u made the skin than not doing anything about it is a waste of your talent...

just the way i see it.

other than that i am imressed deeply by the coloring of the skin and the art line. awsome

Thanks for all the comments and feedback I
got. I agree on the thighs, but did the hotpants on purpose

- Topeira, I'm happy you liked it, ..-though I could make the clothing in the same style as the skin, there's no point doing it just because youre able to. I kept it simple just to get the skin more on focus...kinda like old commersial boards from the 70-80's.
but seriously, happy you liked it, and that goes to the rest of you also
