just a quick crit. i have found when making buttons using text it is best to put a rectangle the same color as the bg and the same size or slightly larger than the word(s) it self so that way the viewer or interactee does not have to put the hotspot of the cursor right on the letters themselves


any way keep up the good work with flash it can do some cool stuff with the help of a good artist

My suggestion is that you put hit boxes for the buttons. its a pain to position the cursor right ontop a letter.

I agree about the buttons, but don't put a rectangle the same coor as the background in there, put any colored rectangle there with the alpha set to 0. Thatway if yo decided to change the background (or don't want it to be a solid color), you won't have to change all your buttons.

I wouldn't bother doing either, you can just make the hit state into a rectangle, if you're feeling slack just draw one over the top of the text.
