This one is older than the other two I've posted here. I'm interested in learning more from this image but will likely not change it at this point. I have nit picks with it and would love to compare mine to yours.

Yeah Thrush this is killer. Everything has great detail and that bat peeking over the coffin is a nice touch. Nice detail on the bat too. Keep them coming!

Actually I was trying to promote the illusion that the inside of the coffin was extremely cold (not to mention I like the look of hard nipples.

Fantastic!
Some nitpicks though:
His left(to the right) hand looks a bit odd,
its very square and his pinky looks funny.
Second; His head look weird, is it smoke or
hair around it?
Third; would you really be able to see the
lid of the coffin at that angle?(I mean the
bit in the top of the image)
well, all in all its a great image!

beutifull!!! i totally dig the atmosphere!
nice details and lightning. good job my man.

only 2 pesky comments-
1) the folds on the guy's left (our right) should go from the lower albow to the top of the wrist. not from top of the elbow downwards the wrist.
2)u could add more details on the arm in forshortening so it'll look less flat. some details (probably folds) that will emphesis the "tube-form" of the arm.

other than this - totaly great!!

Thanks for the crits and picks y'all.

I have a few of my own to add too. Given the amount of detail on the walls, coffin, lace etc. I think I should have put alot more into the figures. My intent to make the coffin seem freezing cold should have been enhanced with more vapor than what I indicated. And this image as with so many of mine suffers from lack of pre-sketching. I feel I should be drawing more before I get into the painting aspect of the image. So often my images only get a few chicken scratches and off I go.

Oh well I'll keep trying. With the encouragement supplied by this list (you guys & gals) how can I miss.
