This is a photoshop illustration I did on my friendws laptop while all the other peoples in the house were playing starcraft! (i didn't have a network card for the laptop, errr) This is a conceptual portrait of a character for the project I'm working for. He is an aquatic creature. CRITS and Comments please!

Too colorful for my taste.
And spotty
But the main features or whatever are really cool, so keep it up. |

as an aquatic creature, he uses his colorful skin to keep the predator's at bay. And the "spotty"ness of it is called, style

I like your style.. some people could do well to add more painterly style to their work. But anyway, what's with the hair? You know what i mean, it wasnt in the conceptual data was it? It's the first thing i thought when i got up on and saw it on the monitor in the living room (after wOw, or course).

I really like the hair but it seems like there are too many colors around his face |

That's not hair...well it could be...i have no idea the intentions...but it could be celia or something or the sort.
I like this much. I like the semi pointilistic aproach, it works very well.

well... it is hair, but it isn't. It's a bioluminescent fiber meant for them to see in dark areas within the depths of water. only the deep sea species have them.
