Pretty nifty. The skull seems to be sitting a bit low in comparison to the shoulders though?

I mean, granted, it's a pretty surreal pic and everything... but that was the first thing that stuck out at me.

Damn, one reply? This is nice. I think you should do a background...or work with the lighting a little bit, it could be pretty damn scary.

Really cool pic so far, I love the way you did the hands, they look awesome !

However, the fact that he doesn't have a neck bothers me...it just looks "wrong"..

Great work nonetheless, by the way, at what res did u do this at and is it possible to have access to a higher res one, or simply a bigger version of it ?

I see a neck. but it just looks like there isn't one.. because of the large shoulder pads..

Looks good but quite unfinished. Instead of having random color splotches on his chest I would add more sharpness and detail to make it resemble some form of a tatoo. I would also start the light more towards the top and leave the rest of the chest a transition b/w black and the tatoo. The skull would be perfect if it were hoisted up a few pixels, say 30-40 and smoke or 'brimstone' covered the area that was the neck. The background would suit the rest of the image if it were a pale yellow color with some sort of archaic symbols and such on it.

Well those are just my ideas for a good pic that still needs a little work.

Hey, thanks for everyone's thoughts. This is fun.

As for the anatomy, I built a skeleton, then put the robe and shoulder pads over. The size of the pads makes the neck look short, it was a conscience choice I made in hopes of a dramatic effect. I didn't realize it would look wrong or confusing. I'll try to post a big rez later. And I like to work loosely sometimes, it's good for you.
