Hmmm... you know usually I don't like texture fills, but in this case it kind of gives your stuff a style - I like

Faust, I sure hope your joking. You had to know that he meant he is new to Photoshop and he started last week. Although I guess I could see where this would be confusing, becuse they sell more than just Photoshop...

Before a flamewar breaks out...
Give the guy that did those sketches credit on the couloured version too.

Some crits about your coloured versions:
Drop the texture filter, it disturbs the eye wich makes it hard to see the outline. I can not see the point why it should be used in these either.
I think the coulouring is too soft and blurry
and that takes away the sharpness of the BW sketches. Try and use the paintbrush tool and not only the airbrush and balance the soft/hard shadows better. Use less stauration
in the shadow areas too. Right now it can be mistaken for blood or wounds.
Couloring can get a lot easier if you can draw or got some understanding for the basics.
Hope this can help
-Mikael

Welp, now my hypothesis has been proven, and thus I come to this conclusion: Do not check threads of people with numbers in their nicknames.

theres no reason why he shouldnt sign something he colored, but taking the artist name of the picture is breaking the law here in sijun. Always give credit to the original artist.

Why do people put sio much effort in their effing signature, when that time would've been better spent on the actual painting. In this case, any second would've been worth it.

Now, we know you are new to PS and line art is a good way to start. But, especially for the secong image, you might want top choose your colors more carefully. I think they are too saturated.
Secondly - yes, texture adds some extra 'feel' to a painting, but here it's used to crudely IMHO.

SOrry for being so harsh - I'm a bastard - but keep it up and paint and paint and paint! Also - keep posting, we'll try to help ya further!
And loose that signature!

Don't sign your name on something you colored. In the second one, you put black over the artists sig and add your own! Not cool.
