I love a whole lot of elements of your pic. I love the color, lighting and I like that it's realistically painted but then... it's real *weird*.

The word "dress" on the... dress (heh) is sort of like... an anomaly or whatever. It sticks out, strangely, from the rest of the pic. And I like it. Usually I'd say it's bad for a pic, to add something like that, but here it seems to work.

It's a very nice painting. it almost looks like a very very stylized 3d rendering...?

i think that this one is little more developed for my sketchy tastes.
drew the bunny on cardboard with a ballpoint pen. (scanned)
painted values on that cardboard. (scanned)
then built up the rest of the detailing by painting in photoshop and painter.
repeated that process for the other characters as well.
mostly pastels(scanned) and painter/psd for the BG. and so on.

detailing is fun as long as i have a clear view of what i want in a scene. im too impatient to finish anything but i guess this is really just a more developed sketch.
