I just LOVE this kind of coloring. it's so schweet. Never read Battle Chasers, but I would love to. Does anyone know if it's possible to get it anywhere in Sweden ?

I hardly think he was trying to compare his version to Liquid's version.
And beyond that, I think it's a pretty competent coloring job. Easily up to par with where comics were even a few years after they went digital for colors.
I'd offer some critique, but it's well beyond my own capabilities, and I haven't seen the Liquid version.
Cheers,

funny..but comic colouring has been digital for a long time man. since mid 80s
i was talking to kirk mobert about comic book colouring a few weeks ago( used to colour for olyptics, and marvel) and he told me that they started on amigas...with proprietary vector based software.
so its been arround for a while

All right, then uh, I retract that statement and replace it with "Better than most looked even a few years after the mainstream started using whatever color separation process it was that actually takes advatage of CG color"
It was right around the time Image comics were formed. Take a look at Spiderman right before McFarlane left, and then at Spawn. Pretty significant difference in the colors.
I believe it was Olyoptics doing those, in fact.
