heya, here's some characters we did for an Innerloop game called Extreme Sports. It's a console game, but we did these characters as marketing for the coming Pc release of the game.

I did these two, /and chester will probably post his right after

hope you like them...
(though, it's strange for me to do this kind of line work after such a long time with more painted work

)

I'm not quite sure I know what U mean though,
it would be nice if you could draw how you think it ought to be.

I know what you mean about the feet, they can be a pain some times. I like these though. They have a capcom street fighter feel to them. very nice.

I like everything about those characters, um.. except the 'Noel' guys legs. colours are great, but the poses, wow. I want to try my own! very Fresh looking stuff.

wow, very nice, i like, like freddie said, the shoes don't look bad, but theirs something i don't like about them that much...but the poses are nice and do tell a lot about em. You can tell nina's a slut, raga's a pimp etc. hehe, also get-up kid, you live in alameda too? where at in alameda? I'm in fremont.

hey everyone, thx a lot for all the comments and nice compliments. -I would never espect these characters to get much attention, it's easy to misjudge and think that the majority of the forum only wants "painted" work

- I can see that the feets can look strange. It wasn't because we had problems drawing them, but simplified and "mis-shaped" intentionally. The fact that the guys are wearing snowboard-shoes probably don't help much either. But, as long as people react to it, it would probably be better to draw them less controversial.

-Caths breasts, well that I won't say anything about. I don't mind that size at all

Sorry, but we don't have any other character drawings. Well, atleast not some that we can share. These are the only four characters that are in the game.
Actually, I didn't work on the game, I just joined in doing two of these. Infact, Chester did all the graphics for this game alone, as all the other artists in Innerloop worked on project IGI. So, I'll ask if he would be interessted to show you some of the character work he made earlier.

Too bad the game never really hit it off, it looks really good and plays quite well also.

Damn! Those are sweet!

I love the poses. I find it hard to do poses. Most of my characters would just wind up standing there or have weird proportions.

Chester L, did you go for formal art training such as a arts and design college?Or were your skills self taught?
