her hips look a bit too long and broad and
her collarbones look a bit odd- other than that it looks quite crisp and visigoth style.

I think the reason her hips look so odd is because the bulge of her hips is at about the height where one would normally find the middle of the thighs

i agree with the neck comment.. her neck is too wiry, since she's not that skinny.

i like the reflections in the hair and the clothing though

Really quite beautiful, mate! However the hips do bother me a bit...they do look a wee bit too wide. And the hand she has across her tummy looks a bit strange. Other than those two things it looks fabulous!

ARGH-- I wrote a bunch of anatomy suggestions here but I just snipped them because after looking over the rest of your work, I don't think your anatomy problems here are a common theme in the rest of your work.

Just basically the hands here look a bit off, like they were done without reference (hands are TOUGH!!!) and then the hip/thigh issue.

But this drawing is cool and you have a cool style all around...

PS> LAY OFF THE RAMEN!!!! The SODIUM CONTENT in RAMEN will kill you man! =) Remember, it says like 38% sodium on the back, but it considers one package to be like 4 servings! So one bag'o ramen = 136% of your daily sodium intake.

- The Art of Matthew G. Cox and yes I am aware that my own drawings often have awful anatomy!

yeah, the prob with the hips is not that they are too wide, it's that they are too "tall". it's ok to have wider hips, not every chick is a supermodel

i love your style. do you use paths a lot, and if so, do you ever use illustrator?

SporQ;

I don't use paths at all. Every one of my pieces is entirely freehand. If you'd like, I'll re-post the tutorial on how I do this stuff...hehe

That's in the archive, but all the tutorial gfx are still there. Thanks for the comments, everyone.

To answer the questions/statements; Yeah, I didn't use any reference, and just tried to whip it up as quick as possible...I'm quite pleased with the face, but again, the hands/hips need some work. ;P
