The way that you have worked the eyes makes him look like an old man T-Rex not very visious at all..hmmmm might want to look at some jurassic park for reference...now I am not saying this isnt a great pic it is al usual but if you are going for a scary t-redx this guy doesnt do it :P

[ edit ] I went and did a quick little repaint just to show you what I mean...hope this helps BTW I love the foliage and the worms eye perspective through the grass just a nice touch...good work my boy!

He kind of looks a bit slow/stupid (hey! like you binke! ) But he's great.. The T-Rex had a tiny brain and I think this really shows it in a humorous yet beautifully rendered way. The light through the foliage is great. His feet look a bit weird to me, sort of like they are floating, could use some darker blacks down there perhaps, great work though!

awesome.. i actually like the original eyes.. gives it some real unique character that breaks through the cliche t-rex viciousness. just because you have to eat little helpless creatures to survive doesn't mean you're mean. :P

great colors, and yes.. depth.

Lovely! If only my chameleon pic had these colors :]
I like the blurred out foreground, but not the way the leaves frame the whole pic. A little less would've done it for me.

The 3d form on the head is very flat, which I think is because the bottom of the head is a really sharp triangle. I'd change the angle of the eye as well, to more of that in the second pic.

The second pic is more evil, but I really like the sharp focused look on the rexs face. Goes a little dark, though.

Really nice.

I really like your pic, Capt. You put alot into the "whole" composition and it all comes together very well.

The green glow from the right is a litle gimmicky and misplaced, but it doesn't neceesarily steal anything from the pic

Quite a dour T-rex... haven't seen too many of them.

Nice jobs on the reworks, Milkman and Anthony

Nice colors El Capitan = He doesn't look very malicious though does he? Maybe a black moustache and a thin cigar would do it.

brilliant detail!

the t-rex looks kind of tired in an "about to drop dead sort of way though"

Whohoo! That rocks, cap! Man, you are constantly kicking my derriere with that blur technique for foregrounds. ;} Okay, I have GOT to try something like that for my next pic, it's just too cool.

Personally, I like all the versions of it. Though I think that the second one is the best, because it has the nice contrast. I like the warmth of the original, but it needs some darks like the second. Either way, bravo. I look forward to talking to you about it. ;}
