She said she wanted something simple and personal, even if it was just another plant, as long as it came straight from my heart...

Okay, so I hadn't intended to do any more Loki pictures. (And, no, I don't plan on doing two that look like the same person. ) But this was a present for someone very special.

So there.

*smiles happily*

I just so love this one. It's gory and beautiful all at once, and it's kinda bluish, purplish in colour, which makes it even greater.

No crits from me!

Wow... Words cannot describe how disturbing the implications of this piece are..

At the same time, though, I have to say that, from a purely artistic perspective, it's beautiful... but I still think I'm going to go throw up now.

Daaaaamn...What do I need to do to get on your Valentine's list? Might I repeat: Daaaaaaaaaaaamn! I really like this. The nasty, gray skin, the manky innards, the interesting ear decorations.... Pure evil, I say. Pure evil. I wish I'd thought of this one. *Sits in the blank-faced, slack-jawed worship corner*

Eeeeh, responses! Woo!

Enayla:

]Aratex[: Disturbing? Really? Most of my pictures are in this vein (haha!), something mildly amusing with a gaping wound. It's not as if we're strangers to wounds or the aftermath of violence, on this forum. There are certainly darker, more horrific, more emotionally shaking images roaming around here. And yet, mix a little bit of the darkness in with the opposite kind of emotions (happiness, joy, love, laughter), and suddenly we have Disturbing. That's never failed to interest me, I find it fascinating that something not really that bad can have that effect on a lot of people.

Socar: It's a pretty empty list, having been defunct for almost a decade and a half prior to this year. You only have to ask.

strata: Intentionally taking things too literally can be great inspiration for art. Take, for example, the word chipmonk. On the one hand, it could be a fluffy critter. On the other, it could be a creepy robed monk fellow with flesh made up of chips of wood. A window wiper could be for cleaning sheets of glass, or it could be a deadly computer virus. And so on.

Darkmoon: Just the way I like it.
