Just did a quicky. The basic form wasnt good enough to spend any time on the lightning, which is all crap. Came out quite moody anyway though. If you trough out a couple of fireflies you get a cheap fairytale look...

I like this one!! The color scheme is nice and structured, with the overall green countered by the red at the bottom and blue at the top. Combined with the shapes and forms - I particularly like it. The structure and composition is very appealing to me.

Did you run it through a filter though? I keep wanting to see more detail. If you wanted to play with it, I would suggest keeping your overall lack of detail but maybe in certain parts going for more detail.

A nice effect would be to have increasing detail in the parts that are close to you gradually becoming blurry again toward the background. That would make the plant stand out even more. In fact, you could go even crispier on the very foreground of the base... like that is real close to the camera... Make that tighter than the details you add on the plant. That would add more depth to it...

i like it though. i like the little blue lights. it would be neat if that was a plant in real life, swaying in the wind with the blue lights dancing around, reflecting on the leaves.
